It rains exactly 7 days here in AZ. Guess what one of those days was?? Of course the morning of the first activity that we planned. So~~we took it to the inside and had to use the classrooms and hallways because of a famiy reunion there. But we pulled it off. The Easter Bunny came, lots of doughnuts were eaten, lots of eggs hunted, and games played. W.H.E.W.

After having BaBiEs--I discovered WIPES!

I have had a ♥LoVe Affair♥ ever since. I NeVeR go anywhere without them. They are GREAT make-up removers, cleaner of spills and sticky things, not to mention tush wipers. I have even turned Mike into a wipe lover. (SHHH! It's a secret.) We have learned there are certain wipes that are tush and eye burners and stay away from them. (Mostly the store brands) We stick with Huggies. So---those of you still using DRY toilet paper (just a step-up from leaves and catalog pages)--- give WIPES a try!

Guy: Soon I'll be the general manager here and they make 150 grand.

** Drew joined Mike and Troy at Garlock Custom Contracting, so he could go to school full time.

** Abigail kicked the crawling habit, Parker and Kylee kicked the diaper habit. Yippee

** Tiffany and Drew rented their house and moved back into town to be closer to work and school----soooo we see them more! Yeah!

** Kasey started a home business--Terricfic Tots' Preschool--and has 7 students come twice a week.

** We have wild bunnies who have made their home in our backyard, and the grandkids love to feed them carrots.

** Shawna and Jared announced that baby girl "Skye" will be arriving in April 2008.

** Many trips to the lake were enjoyed by all.

** Bought a new boat, sooo that many trips to the lake could be enjoyed by all.

** Went to the Oregon coast for a fantabulous Garlock family reunion.

** All were blessed with good health, good friends, work, and happiness.

** Cute bunnies leave not so cute droppings for grandkids to step in.

** Not enough vacation time for all the fun stuff we want to do.

** One of the hottest summers on record---thank goodness for pools and lakes.

** Only got to El Gulfo, Mexico twice.

** Mike's back still hurts.

** The end of Gilmore Girls---boo hoo for Mike.

** Still haven't made it to Hawaii.

** Wakeboarding/boating season is too short.

** Snowboarding is at least 4 hours away.

Eric is in the A Cappella Concert Choir at Mesa High. They are heading to Washington DC at the end of March to tour the White House and sing. We'll keep it a secret that I posted this---something to the effect of "this is really dumb" would be verbalized by a certain teenager--

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. This innocent looking Christmas card is the result of lots of bribery and, yes, even threatening to keep everyone in one place to get this one pose. Most of the bribes and threats were aimed at the Garlock men who had various complaints against wearing collared, white shirts on a day other than Sunday, and they weren't able to stand in one place for longer than a minute.

- - Herding cats would have been simpler :)

Mexico Partay!

Twice a year we have a huge group that goes down to Mexico. Before those trips we gather and have a Mexico planning party. It usually goes a little something like this:

"Hey! We're going to Mexico? Yep, Yep. Sounds good. Thursday to Monday? Yep. See ya then!"

Then we eat good grub, reminisce upon last trips and laugh a lot. These are the highlights of the planning party we had on Saturday.

Weekend at the Lake

The Garlock family had yet another fun adventure at the lake. We spent the weekend at Roosevelt Lake and had such a good time! Ma and Pa bought a new boat so we had to test it out. It was sweet!
